Integrated NMR spectrum of methyl t-butyl ether. In going over a peak, the integrator trace rises by an amount that is proportional to the area under the peak.

n methyl t-butyl ether there are 3 methyl hydrogens and 9 hydrogens from the t-butyl group. The integration will have make a trace for the t-butyl hydrogens that is 3 times as large as the trace for the methyl hydrogens. The relative area for methyls and t-butyl is 1:3.

The ketone has four different types of protons. There are two equivalent methyl groups labeled a that will have the same signal, a methyl (b) and a methylene (c) directly attached to the carbonyl so they will be deshielded, and a hydroxyl proton (d). Since there is only one hydroxyl proton the height of the integration line for this signal will represent 1 proton. The methylene (c) integration line will be twice as high as (d), the methyl (b) three times higher, and the integration for the six protons of the methyls (a) will be six times higher than (d).
